High-rise intallations department

The main trends of the activity

Design process, investigation and technical condition assessment, development of projects aimed at operation and reconstruction of such structures as radio broadcasting and television supports, radio relay lines systems, chimney (vent) stacks, supports for electric power transmission lines, monuments, flagstaffs, lightning conductors, allumination supports, drilling systems, wind-driven electric plants, sea foundations, (deep-water sea platforms).

Making of scientific investigations for optimization of structural shapes of the structures mentioned above as well as systems for damping of oscillations at high-rise installations under wind flow.

Elaborations of the department

Projects of unique television towers:

TV tower 385 m high television Center, city Kiev;

TV tower 240,7 m high television Center, city Kharkov;

towers 243,9 m high and Radio broadcasting systems in cities Vitebsk, Grodno, Astara (Azerbaijan);

TV tower 311,5 m high in city St.-Petersburg (Russia);

TV tower 311,7 m high in city Yerevan (Armenia);

TV tower 311,7 m high in city Tbilisi (Georgia).

Series of standard unified radio broadcasting and television supports projects:

towers made of metal 120 m high for "Altaj" system;

aerial masts 260 m high of radio broadcasting stations using hectometric and kilometric wave bands with power Ро–ЧРо;

steel structures of trihedral and tetrahedral towers-stacks 90 m, 120 m, 150 m and 180 m high;

unified standard components and metallic structures of mast-type television supports having heights within the range from 200 up to 350 m;

structural supports for mobile communication system supports such as МОS, BOS and BTS.

Exhaust vent stacks and chimneys:

chimney made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic 120 m high. Radio broadcasting station "Tereshkovo", city Moscow;

chimney of power center 60 m high provided with 13 gas flues. Complex of buildings for the Moscow region Government;

temporary chimney-stack 180 m high at water-power station in Ryazan city.
