Annually V. Shimanovsky Ukrainian Institute of Steel Construction organizes and holds scientific-technical conferences, colloquiums and seminars. In process of these events are discussed new constructional solutions for buildings and structures, results of innovative research, methods of calculation and analysis of deflected mode of structures and their elements, new options of CAD, innovations in normative provision of building, technologies of fabrication and erection, new building materials and many other issues.

Often topics of papers are problems of design, manufacturing and erection of metal structures of unique buildings such as NSC “Olympiyskiy”, “Donbass arena”, “Lviv arena”, and others. On conferences are covered directions and tendencies of metal building development in Ukraine and foreign experience.

Representatives of Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Israel took part in our conferences and colloquiums. Exchanging experiences between leading specialists in branch of metal construction is always useful and leads to increase of professional level of conference participants.

Information technologies have already entered all spheres of science, education, industry, and building branch is not an exception. Internet technologies give an opportunity to get familiar with publications of foreign colleagues and exchange experience with them without leaving home. In this year decision was made to hold Internet conference instead of ordinary conference.
