Metalwork fabrication and erection. General contract work To execute full operating cycle, such as designing, fabrication, erection, the specialized complex for fabrication and erection of the steel structures was established at the Institute. The principal advantage of such complex is as follows: project developers, manufacturers and erectors are concentrated in the same organization. Therefore a considerably lesser time is spent for coordination and approval of all matters arising in the course of work execution. It is of particular importance in the case, when elaboration of project documentation and assembly operations are performed simultaneously. The Institute concludes the contracts for metalwork design, fabrication and erection along with general contract agreements for construction on "turn-key" basis. The main trends in the activities are as follows     — Design of industrial and civil purpose facilities.     — Organization of fabrication and delivery of building metalwork.     — Erection of load-carrying and enclosing structures.     — Coordination of work with subcontracting organizations.     — Quality control at all stages of the project realization. Metalwork fabrication 1. Frameworks of industrial buildings and structures:     — columns and braces;     — crane girders and braking structures;     — roof and under roof trusses, purlins, braces;     — suspended transport tracks;     — intermediate floors;     — working areas, stairs, railings. 2. Frameworks of civil buildings and structures (supermarkets, logistics centers, trade centers). 3. Transport and pedestrian galleries. 4. Silos and bins (rectangular, conical and circular in configuration). 5. Tanks for petroleum products storage (cylindrical, vertical). 6. Other metalwork. Assembly works      The Institute deals with the following operations:      — erection of supporting structures of industrial and civil buildings and engineering installations;      — erection of tanks, gas holders, silos, water towers, gas flues;      — erection of viaducts, trestles, galleries;      — erection of enclosing metalwork for industrial buildings with the use of multi-purpose sandwich panels.      Hoisting equipment is used, such as:      — cranes МКГ-25, БР, БСО;      — electrically operated assembly winches of 5 t load-carrying capacity;      — special equipment and accessories.      Erection of metalwork is carried out by specialized teams dealing with:      — erection of standard metalwork;      — erection of enclosing structures;      — erection of high-rise installations with participation of highly-skilled climbers.      There are examples pictured below, which represent various buildings and inatallations built and being built according to the Institute's designs.
