Specialized scholar degree awardship council |

|
Scholar degree awardship council K 26.857.01 acts at the Institute since July 2001 and exercises the right to Consider and to arrange a defence of a theses in competition of Candidate's Sc. (Eng) academic rank by speciality:
— 05.23.01 — civil engineering constructions, buildings and structures;
— 05.23.17 — structural mechanics.
The council deals with defence of a theses related with problems in theory, analysis, experimental research, designing, reliable and safe operation, reinforcing and reconstruction of civil engineering and transport constructions made of metal.
The council dominantly consists of the Institute's regular staff employees, highly-skilled specialists in the field of metal engineering, who take an active part in scientific work. The team of well-known experts in the field of transport structures from National Transport University is incorporated into the membership of this council too.
